YES!

Dogs are a big part of your family and deserve to be involved in your newborn session. For this reason I allow well behaved dogs into my studio. Often your fur baby is your "first born" and they have now been promoted to big sister, or brother. Just like with human children, you never know how your furry member of your family will react to your new addition, some dogs are not interested at all, whereas others are very protective.

One thing that works for all dogs is TREATS. These are essential to get your dogs involved for your newborn shoot. Working with dogs and children can be a challenge but it is 100% worth it!

Cooper, Elsie and their family were just the sweetest! As always safety is the most important thing to me. During the family and "sibling" photos I kept Elsie wrapped up, adding an extra layer of safety. This means that Elsie won't be able to move and startle herself or Cooper.

Of course, your baby is still the most important person during their newborn session, and will remain the star of the show. Elsie was a little dream at just 8 days old!!
