Your baby's first birthday is like no other. It is a celebration that you have made it through the first year of parenthood.

12 months ago you could hold your tiny baby in one hand, now, they are constantly moving and exploring new things everyday.

A cake smash photo shoot is such a fun way to celebrate the milestone of your baby's first birthday! Your baby is presented with a delicious birthday cake, that they are allowed to get messy with.

I love watching how different babies react during these sessions. Some babies will get stuck in, smashing the cake to pieces, whilst others will tentatively sit and happily nibble away at the cake!

These sessions let your little one's personality shine through and they are so much fun!

After every cake smash photo shoot I am left with my cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing so much, and I’m sure yours will be too!

Where do cake smash sessions take place?

My first birthday photography sessions in Cornwall take place at my beautiful studio in Wadebridge, North Cornwall.

What happens at a cake smash photo shoot?
We will start by capturing your baby’s one year portraits, before we introduce the cake and then the fun starts, the session ends with a bubble bath, making sure your little one goes home nice and clean!

When should I book?
I recommend scheduling your cake smash session 3-4 weeks before your baby turns one.

How much do cake smash photo shoots cost?

In order to book your session I charge a £35 session fee. I then offer digital packages which include prints too, and various different wall art. All prices can be found on my investment page.

How long do cake smash photo shoots take?
Family photo shoot usually last around an hour, however I never set a time limit!

What do I need to bring?

All I ask is that you provide the cake, I can recommend a list of cake makers!

I believe that photos are the most important investment you can make as a family. Photos are lifelong, photos remind your family that they are important and they are loved, studies show that photos make a home happier!
