A typical newborn photography session is scheduled for when baby is ideally under 2 weeks old. Due to covid restrictions, multiple lockdowns, and time spent isolating, many people have missed out on the typical posed newborn sessions. I feel so sorry for all the families that have missed out on capturing their little one's first moments. Those moments can never be relived. However, you have NOT missed out. Your baby will never be this little again! I am going to reassure you that it is still important to capture your babies first moments, even if it is not possible to be a posed newborn session. Older newborn photo shoots are just as beautiful and magical! Little Lottie joined me in the studio when she was 11 weeks old. With this age, there is typically less posing, they will be more alert, and a lot less sleepy, but the one thing that does remain the same - you will still receive a stunning gallery full of priceless images of your baby. With older newborn sessions babies can give eye contact, and we have the ability to photograph the most amazing smiles and facial expressions! There is also a chance that your little one could fall asleep, which always create the cutest photos! If you feel like you have missed your opportunity to photograph your baby as a newborn, I hope I have now changed your mind. Take a look at the many faces of Lottie, and her beautiful family, including her big brother Benjamin, the golden retriever!
