Hi, I'm Grace, I love working with easy going, relaxed families. I live in Wadebridge, Cornwall, with my fiancé Tom. I was actually born in Southampton, but I moved to Cornwall when I was just 2, so like to think of myself as Cornish (my fiancé disagrees). My business name was made with the help of my brother, also called Tom. Whilst Grace is my name, I aim to photograph my subjects with "Grace" too, and that's how we came up with my business name "Photography With Grace."
When I am not working, you can often find me at the beach, or eating out with my lovely fiancé Tom. Tom is also self employed, he teaches brass, piano and singing from our home in Wadebridge. We have been together for nearly 6 years, and met in our school Jazz band. I used to play the flute, but my love of photography has taken over.
I created my little business about 2 years ago whilst I was in university. I now have a 2:1 in BA Photography, and have also trained in newborn photography! I absolutely love photographing babies and families, making a moment last a lifetime. I could not think of anything better to do for a living! 7 months after graduating I took the leap and decided to rent my own studio space in a lovely little town called St Columb Major, close by to Wadebridge, Newquay and Padstow. It is a perfect little space for me to carry out all my work, and it is fully equipped with everything you will need for your session.
I honestly can't choose a favourite session of mine, I just love to work with relaxed and adventurous families.
I believe that photos should be capturing honest, true, and real moments. I like to be adventurous and active, allowing your true personalities to be captured. My job is more than just taking your photo, it is about documenting moments in your life for you to remember forever. I believe it is important to exist in photos, not only for your children, but for yourself too. In the years to come, when your children have children, you have these memories to look back on. To show the happiness you gave your little ones. This will be remembered forever.
My favourite product that I offer is a circular acrylic! Although I think canvases are great, acrylics are something different! Something not everyone has, especially when they are circular - They definitely have that WOW factor! I even have a circular acrylic in my bedroom of a photo of Tom and I.
