Golden hour is most photographers favourite time to organise a location photo shoot. For those that don't know, golden hour is the hour before sunset, or after sunrise. During the summer months this can get quite late, but it is the perfect excuse to get some fish and chips on the beach, before your family photo shoot - and maybe an ice cream afterwards. Bribery always works a treat (pun intended). When organising my sessions I always avoid scheduling between 11 and 4 during the summer months, but my absolute favourite time to organise a shoot is golden hour! The light is so magical, creating the most stunning, dreamy photos! Living in Cornwall we can never guarantee the weather, but when it is nice, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else! I only schedule a certain amount of photo shoots each month, so that I can easily rearrange due to the weather. I met Sian and her gorgeous girls for a beautiful evening session at Baby Bay, otherwise known as New Polzeath. I am in love with her whole gallery, here is just a little preview for you to enjoy! Sian is unable to pick her kids up due to medical reasons, so there was no piggy back rides, but her session was filled with cuddles, hand holding, kisses, and lots of love! "The greatest legacy we can leave our children is happy memories."
