Cornwall family photographer: Hayle Beach.

Although I now have a studio I still absolutely adore getting outside on location for photo shoots! Being in Cornwall we are so lucky to have so many beautiful locations nearby. This lovely family have been holidaying in Cornwall for the last 6 years, they described Towans beach as their "happy place" so this was the perfect location for their photo shoot. The sun was shining, but we did have a yellow weather warning for wind, luckily we managed to shelter behind some cliffs and found a perfect spot.

It was amazing to capture Katey and her family in the place where they create so many memories. Going on holiday shouldn't just be about making memories but capturing them too.

Jac was definitely in charge of the session, he loved having races with his mum and dad! Katey told me that Jac isn't too keen in front of the camera so we made things as fun as possible! I don't like to pose families, however a little direction can be a good thing. I love to get photos of families running together, having piggy back races, and just having one big family cuddle.
